Nicole Allen, Reflecting Life

Reflecting Life
Polished, vertical, curving stainless steel sculptures.

‘Reflecting Life’ Art reflects life and life reflects art. Art reflects the things we see and art reflects the things we don’t see. Art reflects those things we take for granted. And art makes us see those things differently.

About the Artist

Nicole Allen

Nicole Allen studied Visual Arts and majored in Sculpture, as a mature age student. Nicole is constantly striving to explore the many different, and unexpected representations of the human form. Her works haven’t, nor ever will be confined to one medium, or one representation. Whether using stainless or Cor 10 steel, cast aluminium, stone or a combination of all, and with a live long exploration in the use of negative, or positive space, this latest body of work is a continuation of her sculptural journey. Her public art commissions include Eastland, Main Street Neerim South, and Main Street Yinnar. Her works can be found in both public and private collections, including the collections of John Singleton, Nick Jools, and both the Baw Baw Shire and Latrobe Valley City Council.
